At times due to the constraints of language, region, geography, busy schedule and distance the documents requisitioned by the concerned insurance company are not reaching them because of following.
- The claimant cannot go to collect them.
- Claimant does not know where to approach for documents
- He/she is not able to understand what is being asked for.
- There remains the possibility of address being different at the time of taking the policy and at the time of claim.
- Insurance intermediary not available who otherwise would have helped.
- The claimant may shift to another place because of unforeseen circumstances.
If you are not able to get the documents being requisitioned by the insurance company/ service provider
for consideration of claim. Submit following
- Copy of policy bond
- Claim forms already submitted to the insurance company
- Letter/Communication from the company seeking further documents.
